Are you winnowing your spool again, please stop doing that???   ;-)

This is the standard welcome message from the listserv!
It can be modified to reflect our actual usage but it
hasn't seemed to bother anyone of the 600 plus individual
list users (more like 220 plus when consolidated).

KLUG does not use the password function but authenticates
by your e-mail address.  You don't need the password to
unsubscribe.  "John Bridleman" <listmaster@kalamazoolinux.org>
can give you all the details as to why it was set up this
way and why the message reads this way.  I'll bet we have
good reasons for this.

The WMU Computer Club uses the same mailing list package
(better than majordomo) and they DO send out a monthly
reminder but we also do not use the password function
there.

By the way... Brue explained Pipermail to me in brief and
I am amazed at what it does just 'out of the box' as far
as archiving!!!  AWESOME APPLICATIONS, EH!
