Hi there,

When I sign a message with GPG in Evolution, it seems to send the
signature as an attachment. It looks fine in Evolution, but sending it
to a couple of web mail accounts and to our corporate email system, it
appears as an attachment. I guess I just like seeing it in-line at the
end of the message, not as an attachment. Silly as it may sound, can I
do anything about this? Is there a setting in Evolution I'm not seeing?
I tried changing the default forward style to Inline, but no dice. It's
probably not even applicable to what I'm trying to achieve.=20

And on a related note, I see some folks (not on this list) who are
religious about GPG signing their emails and posts. Is there really a
reason to for other than really important communications, like
negotiations or confidential material? Heck, I would think you'd either
FedEx something like that or fully encrypt it. GPG sign everything? But
the times are changing, with many courts even allowing filing to happen
electronically.I can't recall exactly the technology they use, but I
seem to recall there was encryption involved.=20

Let me say that I am all for privacy. The analogy of sending a sealed
envelope should apply to email as well as postal mail is fine with me.
I'm just trying to come to grips with the day to day necessity of
signing and/or encrypting.=20

Any ideas or pointers in the right direction are appreciated.
