[KLUG Members] RH7.2 X problem

Well, I tried appending the mem= in grub.conf, but it still
 seg faults. So, I went and picked up Suse 7.3 Pro at Best
 Not Buy. Man, talk about choices! Anyways, I can run X
 now, but only in 800x600. This seriously stinketh on a 19"
 monitor. After searching around in the Suse support
 database, it appears I have a "problematic" chipset. It's
 the SIS630. Argh. A good reason for a new video card. 

Any recommendations for a video card? Or better yet, how do
 I get this SIS630 to work? I don't mind buying a new card,
 but any recommendations are appreciated. Radeon? GeForce?
 Any video card experiences to share? 

Thanks a ton for the other suggestions. They have been
 printed and added to my ever growing Linux reference file.
