It looks like you can get it working with a little arm-twisting,  and it
should be supported "soon".  Several things out there for this chip
dates 2002-01-30,  which is pretty darn recent.  Look like it occurs
mostly in laptops.

I've added Sis630 to my list of things to avoid for the time being.
