Yes, they've ported over their GUI "PowerDesk" tools over.

It's actually _very_easy_ (rarely more than 3 steps). Most of the docs
are for advanced customization (AGP mode, dual-head, FSAA, etc...).
nVidia's drivers are much faster at OpenGL/GLX than Matrox. The drivers
themselves share the same, "unified" codebase with their Windows
releases (hence why they aren't GPL).

MSWord is not even a "proprietary standard." That would
require it to be fully compatible with itself, let alone
other products from the same vendor (e.g., MSPublisher).
