I think the point is these BIOS tricks are NON-STANDARD.
Many BIOS do NOT have this capability.  I don't have that
option on any of my PC's, at home or work.

I never worry about it because I don't run windows, and
Linux can boot off any drive in the system accessable
from the BIOS.  No BIOS tweak needed to boot Linux.  :-)

Personally, I consider overclocking a "hack",
but we're just mixing words now . . .

I still consider it a trick, because my PC's can't do it.

And it would also seem to be a PAIN because I don't want
to spend the time going into the BIOS to make a change
just to boot a another OS on a different hard drive.
