[KLUG Members] Laserjet printer recommendations?

Speaking of printer recommendations, I need to do something at my home.

I currently have a Lexmark (IBM) 4039 10-plus.  I've had it for years
and I'm am starting to run low on toner for the first time (it still has
the "starter cartridge" that come with it new).

The printer still works fine, but I've found toner for this thing costs
over $200 new, and about $75 for a reconditioned cartridge.

I can probably buy a whole new printer for under $200 . . .

I'm open to suggestions of the best way to go.  Buy new or reconditioned
toner for my old printer?  Or a recommendation on a good replacement new
printer?

As you can probably tell, I don't print much at home.  Because of that I
probably don't want to replace it with an inkjet because the ink will
dry up from lack of use.  B&W laserjet is fine for my needs.
