[KLUG Members] Odd eth problems.

Hmm.. Put in a new card, different slot, does the same thing.  Exactly the 
same thing.  I wonder if it's my motherboard.  I've got another brand-new 
ethernet card here , but I'm not sure how to get it installed-- it's a 
netgear fa311TX, and linux doesn't even pick it up, or know what it is.  
Came with drivers, but when I tried to compile, it blew up ( and oddly 
enough, then sound didn't work).

oh, well. back to the drawing board.
