In your /etc/modules.conf file, make it say something like this:

alias eth0 appropriate_module
alias eth1 other_module

where the _modules are the names of the drivers for the cards, like 8139too,
3c509, etc...

Restart networking, then you should be able to use netconfig (or netconf, or
netcfg) to setup the cards.

If that doesn't work, edit ifcfg-eth0 and ifcfg-eth1 files in your
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts dir.

good luck!
