[KLUG Members] Install issues.

Here's how far I can get with various modes:

1. normal: I've died at several parts of the install. Sometimes when
it's actually loading stuff onto the disk, sometimes when it's trying to
start anaconda (i.e. it will somehow come up with a parse error, or
something to that extent) or even when it's just trying to load the SCSI
drivers (cannot read superblock, bad magic).

I've disabled the AIC7890 on the motherboard (or rather, told it not to
use it-- RH still loads the driver, so it still sees it) and put in my
other SCSI cards: Adaptec 2930CU and a Symbios one. They see all my
drives okay, and it boots into the install like the last one. I haven't
tried text or low-res yet, although I've failed with low res, too, and
the one time I tried text it crashed, so I wasn't sure it was a video
proble, or if the text option even existed.

The only thing that bothers me is the nice AWARD BIOS beeps I get
occasionally which basically point to "unknown error". Some web sites say
"CPU problem", others say it's other items, and to check this and that.
I'm not sure it's a CPU problem. I've tried switching sockets, trying
one, the other. A myriad of different configurations.

I'm befuddled. But, I'll keep trying.
