The printer was configured before and then it printed garbage at times.
Their support told them it was in the cabling and not to use it.  (If it
was looking like a cable issue, would'nt you just run a new cable or
take the printer and plug it directly into the port to rule it out? Of
course!) 
I need to set it back up so I can see the problem so I can resolve the
problem.

In smit, it didn't show up.  In trying to assign it (attached to 16-Port
Enhanced RAN EIA-232) the port is already configured for a terminal.  I
can't remove the tty because it says it's in use (I have a printer
plugged in and turned off).  

Once I figure out how to remove that tty, the rest should fall together
nicely.
