Anyone here have specific exp. with Gentoo. I went partially from Linux to
Freebsd a while ago, mostly for the ports system, and the speed/memory
capabilities of the bsd.
I heard some rumors that the portage system is nearly identical to the bsd
ports system, and also that they noticed a speed advantage (possibly hence
memory handeling) over other Linux distros?
I need to run win4lin on several boxen and as there is no way to do this with
bsd I am considering Gentoo.

Mike
