>I live a hop, skip and a jump from BFE.

I'm in GR proper, the SW corner of the NE section. I like my
neighboorhood and my neighbors, but living in the beating heart of the
Zondervan dominion takes some getting used to. Even finding coffee can be
tough after ~9pm, without driving for ten minutes. And they never stop
whining because they don't have any customers. Go figure! Down near 28th
St. (thats the south end of GR) it isn't so bad. But I digress....

>Actually, I have to drive a ways
>to get to bfe, it stands in the way of my house and grand rapids.

You should go north of GR, where packets fear to tread.

>Seriously though: I actually live in Alto, 14 miles or so SE of Grand
>Rapids. It's quaint, quiet, and I can shoot guns off my back porch, so

There are some neighboor hoods in GR where you can do that too. I know,
I've lived in them. However, in that sense it doesn't seem to come across
as a recommendation. :)

>it's nice. If you live anywhere but within 2000 feet of me, you have cable

>If you are going to GR, then you'll pretty much be covered. Go to the

In GR you have AT&T Broad Band everywhere.

Ameritech provides DSL to all but some small pockets of the city.

Earthlink coverage is ubiquitous, or at least they think so.

Apparently iServ offers DSL too, but I haven't gotten a chance to calm
them
yet.
