[KLUG Members] Eck! I _screwed_up_ on the CompTIA Linux+ test ...

I only got an 850 out of 900 (passing was 655 ;-).

It took me about 25 minutes to answer the 94 questions, and I spend
another 15 checking about 12-18 "trick questions" I marked (120 minutes
were given). It lets you mark questions so you can go back, but I
didn't check the review to see if I left some questions unanswered
(Doh!). I think I might have inadvertently clicked twice a couple of
times which clears an answer and, again, I didn't bother to check to see
all were answered on the summary page (just my marked ones). Or maybe I
just got 5 or 6 wrong -- I'd be surprised if the review didn't have a
"bright red" mark somewhere if I didn't answer a question. I'm sure the
"trick questions" got me at least 2 or 3 times, possibly a couple more.

Oh well, at least the moderator was impressed. Her first words were
"Well you sure slam dunked that one!" I faxed over my results to
Spherion, hopefully that was the final ball to set everything in motion.

P.S. Someone else recommended that I scan in my BSCpE diploma and NSPE
E.I. certificates (as well as any other certifications I get, like the
Linux+), and make another PDF for my resume collection. I think its a
good move, one that I hope will "dispell" my neverending issue of
getting "filtered" by "overwhelmed" HR departments. ;-PPP

for their Microsoft software than try Freedom Software that not
only includes those same functions inheritly, but lacks spyware.
