Just on a side note,  someone has successfully built GNOME Mono and 
GDA (of GNOME-DB, now known as ENGIMA) under Cygwin on Windowns.  Just 
thought it was pretty clever.  And GNOME now builds under Darwin x86 as 
well.  On toward world domination!
