[KLUG Members] This is annoying.

Okay: Set up a file server at work. For some reason, it felt like
corrupting its main hard drive, so I reinstalled.

However:

1. When I ssh in, things are fine, but disconnecting causes ssh to 'hang'
and I have to kill the process.

2. NFS is screwed: I export certain directories. It's set up identical to
another machine I set up here with regards to /etc/export (and they are
both RH7.2) and I can mount the drive, but trying to say, do an 'ls'
causes it to hang, and I have to reboot both boxes in order to do anything
(and furthermore, I have to turn off the power, because they won't shut
down if this happens). User setup is like this: user adamb is UID 500 on
both boxes, and GID 500, as well. My main directory has 700 perms, and all
that jazz. However, Two files keep showing up under user 'janel' (UID 502,
GID 555). It's *really annoying*. So, I can change the perms and all
that, and if I reboot the server: Back at janel, etc. It's quite annoying.
Is this an NFS problem, a user/group problem, or just a 'me' problem?

Anyway, enough pissing away of my time with this problem, I'll worry about
this later.

Adam
