..really slowly, it reports 1.2x speed when I have a 48x ..drive. I know it likes to use cdparanoia so I Max data extraction rate does not correlate to Audio extraction rate. That could be as low as 1x or as high as 8x. There may be some software tricks to throw at it, but it seems to be hinging around a hardware limitation. Or, I could be wrong.
