I "heard" somewhere many of the larger ISPs are being "encouraged" to
move to IMAP4 AQAP (As Quickly As Possible) as a result of recent
"urgings" by certain security measures implemented by you-know-who.
So, first the larger ISPs, ultimately probably the smaller ISPs.  For
some, it will be a costly situation to add all that storage
capability.

Yes, it is nice to have all those emails in one place and readily
available on ISPs' hard disk drives.  Makes it easier on those
aforementioned security org's that wish to cull ... aaah, search for
certain information.

No, this is not a conspiracy theory ...
