The re-format noted and dodged the bad sector,  exactly what the format
is for.  Ok, for mapping around originals flaws in manufacturing, etc.

But if you've *developed* bad sectors this is as effective as caging one
of those bugs from "Aliens".  It is just a matter of time till there is
several more and your system is dead stick.

Replace the drive.  The drive will fail when you NEED it to work.
