I would like to be able to keep all my user information all in one place.
Whether the person is on Windows, Linux, IRIX or Solaris. LDAP definatilly
looks like the place to start or end or work on in the middle. As you can
see I am having problems figuring out how to do this and where to start.
>From what I have read I do not see that authenticading to LDAP with IRIX is
going to be simple. So what I was planning on doing is setting up a Linux
box to be a NIS server and have all my *nix boxes get its information from
NIS. Then I will have NIS get its info from LDAP. For Windows I will setup
SAMBA to act as a PDC and have SAMBA get its information from LDAP. So if
everything works the way I hope LDAP will be the only place I need to
manage.

does any one have any input?

Does any one have any good resource to do such beast?

Thank you
