What *WAS* true.  In several past press releases RedHat had stated they we're
focused on the server market and viewed Sun Micro, etc... as their competitors.

Right,  thier project "NULL" is targeted at the desktop, based upon a
integration of GNOME, KDE, Open Office, and Ximian.  The blue curve themeing is
one of the results of that project, where GNOME1, GNOME2, and Qt/KDE apps all
appear more or less the same.  

BTW, RedHat is still a GNOME supported/company but they understand that
joe-pabst-blue-ribbon-six-pack isn't going to get the
X11/GNOME/KDE/{insert-widget-set-here} thing.
