[KLUG Members] NetTerm Equivalent for Linux

Hello,

At my place of employment we are looking at the possibility of switching
some of our users from Windows to Linux workstations for all of the
obvious reasons (licensing restrictions, cost, etc.). Our users
currently telnet to a SCO Openserver machine using NetTerm where they
use our collection software. Because of this they have grown used to
many of NetTerm's features most notably the button bar which has copy,
paste, and screen print buttons.

I've been looking for something that is roughly equivalent to NetTerm
but will run under Red Hat 8.0 but so far have found nothing that even
comes close. While I realize that some of those features can be
duplicated using keystrokes and screen capturing software I'd like to
minimize the changes from the perspective of our current users.

So I guess it comes down to this question. Have any of you ever seen an
Xterm-like program that has a button bar with copy, paste, and print
buttons on it? If all else fails I can modify an existing program but
I'd like to avoid it if I can.

Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt
