I did install bind from rpm and yes Redhat 8.0 (Primary 7.2 Secondary)

The root servers are defined in the named.conf, infact when I set-up the
secondary server (Which works) I copied the named.conf file from the
primary server.

Makes since to me but what does not is why it is not working.
