[KLUG Members] Open Office won't save, crashes

Re-installed as root with -net and then re-installed as a normal user, but still no luck.

Trying to save any document with all the default paths says "File cannot be written."

Trying to change the save path to the user's home directory says "Operation was begun with
the wrong parameter."  The only option then is to click the OK button, which crashes OO and
exits back to the desktop, losing your work..

Does the same thing in the spreadsheet.  Not good.  There must be a simple reason it won't
save documents?
