[KLUG Members] how do find who is holding my dns records

Okay, here's the skinny:

To change the "Authorative DNS" server entries you need to contact your "registrar". Your registrar is who you paid money to to get your domain name. Common registars: networksolutions.com, register.com, and a whole slew of others that I've never used. You can find out who you registered your domain with by using 'whois lackdesign.com'. FYI, it's enom.com. Never worked with them before.

Once you contact enom.com (you probably have a username/password for the domain) you log in, grab whatever web tools they have handy then setup your authorative DNS server information.

Although, seeing as AT&T is the one that registered the domain on your behalf and you never received any information fron enom.com about how to manage your domain name you'll probably have to get a hold of "Gregg Ostrick" as that's the AT&T rep who is listed in your whois record. Email: gno@att.net Phone: 504-282-4814

Hope that helps.
