Folks:
  For what it is worth, the recent posting on this mailing list from Michael
Surkan, was NOT sent to this mailing list by joining the list and posting.
Rather, it was received by our mailing list server and caught (or "moderated") 
before being approved for distribution by one of the volunteers that does
this sort of thing (probably Bruce).

   This doesn't make the request any less valid, but it does appear to hint 
further that Surkan is interested in only the survey, not a lot of information
sharing. He comes to the table with a message, not nessesarily to stay and see
what the meal will be like...
