[KLUG Members] suse 9.0 and toshiba

I have installed suse 9.0 on my toshiba laptop. But am having trouble with 
graphics and my mouse (odd yes I know). Suse recognizes my video card 
properly (nvidia geforce...) but wants to run at 800x600 but it centers it 
in the middle of the screen leaving a black area, and the mouse works. If 
I go into yast to change it to 1024x768 and restart and it comes up full 
screen using it properly but then I have no mouse the pointer dissappears 
and so making it a little difficult to accomplish something. Any 
suggestions?
