Hi,

Has anybody heard anything about a two day workshop on "How to Install,
Configure, Administer and Troubleshoot LINUX", presented by CompuMaster out
of Mission, KS?

I got a flyer saying they are doing workshops in this area, so I could drive
to them.

I seriously doubt I can talk my boss into paying $995 to send me to this
workshop, but just in case he is suffering from a temporary cash overflow
and wants me out of the office for two days, I want to make sure it is worth
my time.

The agenda shows ten labs some of sound rather trivial. Others sound sort of
OK.

For example, they don't say what distro if any that they are teaching. They
talk about LILO, so either the flyer is old or they don't know RedHat
switched to GRUB. They mention Samba but don't say what version. Under
security it talks about ipchains instead of IPtables, etc. etc. etc.

Any comments?

Bob
