Although cable is somewhat faster then dialup, I have a T1 line that is
128kbps, most dial up connection speeds depend on how many people are on
your line, ie., 6o people using same dialup location will slow a v,92 modem
to the same speed as a standard modem connecting at an average 33kbps. I
kknow you Linux users know more than I do but from experience and from
taalking to my computer tech a lot (daily for several hours) I find Im
inclined to follow after the T1 for internet connections. but like most
things its up to the individual.

Hi All,

Got this today. Can anybody tell me if it is a better than broadband or
not? I'm really curious.

Thanks,

Bruce
