yes I have a table with both.. the main student table
has  both in it. The table that this information goes
to is already created and has data in it. 

I still haev to move some data around because I just
found out that the test data is in the wrong format
too.. So I may be just retyping the whole thing..
thanks for the help though.. I do have SQL Server 2000
