I'm looking for some process accounting software.  I know there's the 
whole "How to Enable Process Accounting on Linux" doc circa 1997, by 
Albert M.C. Tam, but I'd like to see something a little more recent, with 
links to process accounting software that still exists.   I want to log 
all actions on my machines, and I'm wondering what the best package is for 
that.

Note:  Following the instructions in the doc don't work.
