I believe there are a couple of these for JBoss/Tomcat, you might want to look
into that.  Most of the time people use Linux for something like transaction
processing it seems to be done in Java.

Maybe you'd be willing to do a presentation on this topic sometime - like an
intro to the Mainframe?  I'd like to have a clearer understanding of that
constitues a "transaction procesing environment" and other technologies of the
mainframe world.  Never having had the chance to play with one.
