Yes I have seen that too. I tried k3b at first. I happens to be 
installed on the system I was using (SuSE 8.1).

The writer works fine under Nero burning rom without any problems. I 
have even tried to get Nero running using wine, no success however. So I 
am stuck with M$ for now for burning dvd's :-(.
