My saga of the unworking webmail applications continues. However, today, I made
a strange discovery.

I cannot ping www.hotmail.com from ANY computer at my work place. We all use a
proxy for our browers.

I cannot ping www.hotmail.com from the IPcop Box.

I can ping www.google.com from any computer and IPcop and IPcop Client boxes...

What kind of setup would our network have that would block me from pinging
www.hotmail.com but make my browers be able to view www.hotmail.com?

But then any client that is behind my IPcop box are NOT be able to browse to
www.hotmail.com?

I'm completely stumped. =/

also thank you very, very, very, very much for all of you have been sending me
countless emails with tips, explanations, etc, etc.
