[KLUG Members] have we ever considered running a forum?

I like the email system best. I've been on several list that changed to web forum. I'm not on them anymore. I like receiving this info in my inbox.
Just my thoughts.

I'm happy to install/setup a Slash site for y'all if you do end up
going with the Slash code. But it sounds like you want discussion
forums where users can start topics... Slash is optimized for
having a small trusted set of admins post stories and discussions
are sparked from those, so it would not be as friendly for the use
you're talking about.

I strongly recommend against php-nuke for security reasons; I've
heard post-nuke is better for security but don't know.

Honestly I think email is best for this kind of forum, largely
question and answer. If the lists are on the web and searchable,
that's about all I could ask. It's a lot easier to scan my KLUG
folder than to remember to check a website everyday.
