[KLUG Members] Sony CLIE

As I recall, I tailed /var/messages as I tried to sync, and it indeed
was trying to connect the cradle to /dev/ttyUSB0 and the CLIE to
/dev/ttyUSB1, or something like that. I tried making a symlink to each
of those as /dev/pilot (I think that is the default in the pilot setup
druid), but it never made the connection and moved data. The weird thing
is, I have no cradle. It's just a cable going from the CLIE to the USB
port. All of this on Red Hat 8 and 9. RH 7.3 with the serial palm pilot
syncing with Evolution was excellent.

So yeah, I guess I had the same result as you...it recognizes it but no
data transfer. I finally had bigger fish to fry, so I set it aside.
(I've not given up, just set it aside. :)
