base64 encoding wastes +-25% compared to straight binary. But now I see
that it doesn't do anything to base64 encoded jpeg. Hmm.

Hmmm. Yeah, I would go with the exim crowd and say that mail hosts not
8bit clean should be behind a scrubbing mail relay. :-) Cool, I'd just
never seen it before.
