I truly despise not having my mail available from anywhere. |:-[

smbclient 2.999+3.0.alpha21-5 is now messed up.

Samba is working fine. The last Samba upgrade required some changes in
smb.conf so the server would still be a PDC:

   use spnego = no

but the logs and XP clients show it working. smbclient, however, is toast.

This killed the XP PC backups, which were also running on a previous
2.999 build. The XP's have RO shares for user first\backup. They
authenticated against the server. Any ideas on how I look up SMB/CIFS
auth failures on XP?
