[KLUG Members] Sendmail questions

hello,

  I am current researching a problem a client is having with Sendmail and
one of the products I support.. unfortunately I have never setup sendmail or
any other e-mail system so I am not sure what to look for. They are using
Redhat 7.3 and Sendmail 8.11.6. I am setting up a duplicate environment and
getting their MC file to see how they are setup. The big problem is
everything I have read leads me to believe sendmail is more of a relay point
then an actual e-mail server.. is this correct or am I just getting
confused??
