There is another groupware solution that I have just run across.  It
is called more.groupware.  It runs completely on a server and is thus
platform independent.  It uses PHP and MySQL. 
http://moregroupware.sourceforge.net/index.php is the website for the
software.  They even have a trial that you can log into and give it a
run around the block.  

I am going to fire it up on my lab in school here.....
