Actually GLAME doesn't use gstreamer;  both GLAME and gstreamer use
LADSPA plugins.  (Geeesh!  How many layers can you get).

While I don't have the URL I've got a little note saying they were
talking about gst-edit (a gstreamer application).

Struck me as a potential way to elimate those big stupid sound boards
you find in sound booths.  But I still don't know how you'd get say >12
audio channels into a PC.
