For anything like this to happen KLUG needs a huge up-surge in
volunteerism. We barely manage to support the projects and
infrastructure that we host or provide.

See -
http://www.kalamazoolinux.org/donations/
and
http://www.kalamazoolinux.org/organize/
- for how you can help.

And many thanks to those already found on -
http://www.kalamazoolinux.org/officers/
and
http://www.kalamazoolinux.org/members/
- because these are the people who make KLUG go!

Take a look at - http://www.kalamazoolinux.org/meetings/schedule.php3

KLUG struggles to find enough volunteers to schedule presenters for even
three months out. Thats not much of an accomplishment - once upon a
time we knew all our meetings EIGHT months in advance! A typical month
has THREE topical meetings - THREE. So three months out is NINE topics,
thats right - NINE. Ppphhhfffttt. There are 220+ people on this list,
and we can't find NINE that want to present, or think they have
something to offer! NINE! Thats sub 4.5% volunteerism! And Open
Source prides itself on it's community spirit? KLUG is clearly
struggling to bring even the ethos of Open Source to western Michigan,
let alone its implementation.
