You need to make sure you are using the most recent version of GAIM.
Yahoo/AIM protocols change frequently and require new clients. This is
one of the reasons I finally got fed up and moved my woody box to sid
the past weekend (living on the edge! I'll prolly get burned soon
enough...)
On a side note, Sarge is expected out next month, YAY!
