[KLUG Members] netware and samba

I have not had much time to play around with the whole Novell set
that I got. I do know that I have always enjoyed Novells products.
They are rock solid for the most part. The file system and the
Novell approch to security is second to none IMHO. I think that the
NDS directory service cannot be beat either, and I work with ADS also
(it kinda blows - AD that is).

As far as Samba, I have not done a lot with it but I guess the
biggest thing would be management of users on the system. I would
think that speed would be comparable between the two probably. I am
not sure what Novell is doing as far as method to access the server,
if you still need a Novell client on the workstation.

My big project currently is to get RADIUS working on my firewall at
home so that I can put it in at work. After that I might try to
implement the Novell stuff. It may have to wait till 2005 though
since I am currently finishing my bachelors.
