I have a couple of small pc's similar in size to the ltsp client that I
have shown at meetings. These new ones are not as equipped. They have
no expansion slots, serial or paralell ports. They do have cdroms. I
have found directions for making ltsp boot cdroms but first I need to
know what network module is needed to make the floppy equivalent boot
disk. So I downloaded knoppix to do this but these machines do not have
what it takes to get them to boot so that I can do an lsmod.

Can someone suggest a cd boot distribution that will work for the
purpose of getting a relatively low profile machine up to a bash prompt.

Will devil linux auto configure the network module and get me to bash.
Is there a distro someone would recommend that would be good for having
around as an emergency boot and recovery method.
