I believe a number of the single floppy disk Linux Router Project/LEAF
firewall distro's are based on Debian (http://leaf.sourceforge.net/). I
guess it all depends on how un-minimum you want the system to be. With
LRP/LEAF You can do lots of module swapping to create a single floppy distro
that runs completely in memory, does exactly what you want and absolutely
nothing else. Of course if you need too many modules for a floppy there are
ways to use a hard disk and/or a CD.

Any idea what the minimum size of a Debian system with very basic TCP/IP
functionality is? Someone mentioned to be that their minimum is 'more
minimum' than others; and RedHat & SuSe's minimum ain't so "minimum".
