The author has a point. But I am forcing myself to keep silent on other 
factors that bother me about this article. 

Let's say you'll get an overdose of cruft, bad analogies, and the very clear 
impression that this fellow doesn't really use computers for anything that 
he could do with a quill pen and parchment... and I'm trying to be nice...
honest!

Nonetheless, the important thing to remember is that he does have a valid
point... I simply wish he would state it without the baggage.
