Hi,
I am having problems with Debian install.

X server is not working. I get the error message: screens not found. will
provide a detailed log .

Apt-get is not working. I get error "http ://ftp.iitm.ac.in/debian" not
found in sources.list on line 10

I think this might be related to network configuration. When I tried to
edit /etc/resolv.conf, I could not locate the file.

What option do I have to select in tasksel to get networking files?


Does anyone know of reliable resources for debian? Cant seem to find any
books in the local stores on debian (atleast from their website)
