[KLUG Members] usb wireless nic adapters

I am planning on purchasing a wireless adapter.  I am thinking of
getting a usb one.  Should they work ok with Linux?  Is there
anything I should be looking at?  I am thinking of a DLink simply
because of cost since this is just for playing and learning
initially.  I am wanting USB so that I can move it between computers
at work and home for a while (well and maybe to a computer for
wardriving).  I could get PCI if that is the best alternative.....
