I tried that yesterday or better yet attempted to try as red-carpet did 
not list any channels for me. So I was unable to do any updates have yet 
to check today. But will get to it. Also forgot to mention I can log in as 
root to a gui session it just affected my user account.

Good choice but until then I will be the experimentor for you and Adam. My 
exploits have caused a delay in him jumping more stuff over to SuSE.
